HARRISBURG – The Senate Game and Fisheries Committee will hold a public hearing to hear testimony on efforts to reduce Lyme Disease in Pennsylvania on Monday, October 27 at 9 a.m. at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center in Erie.
According to Committee Chairman Senator Richard Alloway II (R-33), the hearing will feature testimony from representatives of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Erie Tick Task Force and the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
The hearing will also include updates from the PA Fish and Boat Commission and an examination of the impacts of microbeads on aquatic ecosystems.
